Refund and cancellation policy

Applicability

This policy applies to paid programming consulting services offered by NodeQuartz Consulting (Pty) Ltd (CIPC 2018/894680/07), including technical assessments, advisory sessions, and scoped implementation engagements. It is framed with reference to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

Proposed terms — pending business confirmation: the windows below follow common market practice for project-based consulting until you receive a signed quote that states otherwise.

Direct marketing cooling-off

If you engaged us after direct marketing (for example responding to an advertisement) and no substantial work has begun, you may cancel within five (5) business days of written confirmation of the engagement, consistent with CPA direct-marketing rules.

Service fees after work has started

Once scheduled advisory time or implementation work has started, fees for completed milestones are non-refundable. For partially completed scoped work, we refund only the portion clearly not yet performed, minus reasonable costs already incurred.

Deposits

Deposits hold calendar capacity. They are refundable if we cancel or if you cancel before work starts and within the cooling-off window. Deposits are non-refundable once preparation or access work agreed in the quote has begun.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Advisory sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Late cancellations may be charged as delivered time if the slot cannot be refilled.

No-shows

If you do not attend a confirmed session without notice, that session may be billed in full.

How to request a refund

Email info@nodequartz.digital or call +27-44-000-0120 with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We respond within 10 business days and, when approved, process refunds to the original payment method within 14 business days unless otherwise agreed.

Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first. You retain statutory remedies under the CPA where they apply.
